Elias Betinakis

Planning Director at Nord DDB – Sweden

Elias has more than 20 years of experience from the whole spectrum of marketing consultancies; advertising, digital, PR and design. Before he joined NORD DDB in 2017, he was responsible for consumer insights and market intelligence at Swedish payments Unicorn Klarna.

Besides co-heading the strategy department, cultural insights, at NORD DDB, Elias is chairing APG Sweden and is a board member at the Swedish association of advertising agencies, Komm. He has lectured in branding, planning and research at Berghs School and Stockholm School of Economics.

His work has been rewarded in all major advertising competitions. Elias holds a MSc in Business administration from Stockholm School of Economics and a Degree in Law from Stockholm University. Elias is a sworn enemy of bad research and believes that almost everything could be explained in an easier, simpler way. When he isn’t fighting for common sense and one sentence briefs, he spends his time with his wife and three daughters, preferably in their small rustic summer house in the Stockholm Archipelago.
