Igor Vorobyov joined Eurotorg in 2013 and has been serving as the Chief Marketing Officer for 6 years. Over this period the number of stores operated by Eurotorg has increased by more than 4 times.
Today Eurotorg is the market leading grocery retailer in all formats and across all localities in the country, which is five times larger than the #2 player by sales. Eurotorg LLC operates 762 grocery stores in 297 cities and towns, being the only operator of modern retail formats in ~150 of them.
Over the past few years the Company has launched a few successful marketing campaigns aimed at building strong long-term emotional bonding with customers: the nationwide lottery “Udacha v pridachu”, the largest collectible campaign in the country “Bonsticks” and other marketing activities. Igor Vorobyov has also contributed to the Eurotorg’s loyalty program that helped to achieve superior customer loyalty.
Before Eurotorg, Mr. Vorobyov held senior marketing positions in leading distribution companies, international advertising agencies and large business publishing houses in Belarus.
