Creative Strategist at TRIAD Advertising Bratislava – Slovakia
Jan Papac is the Head of Strategy and a media planner for the team “Mocní” (Powerful) in TRIAD Advertising – currently the Slovak Agency of the Year.
Besides advertising, his career has always been connected to music. He has spent years organizing and attending concerts (xxx of them to be precise) and writing about them. Before TRIAD, he was an integral part of the music & event agency KUUL FABRIK as a brand builder, strategist, and promoter of the concert series BA City Beats which welcomed artists such as Jamie Cullum, Limp Bizkit, Rudimental, Wyclef Jean, Jazzanova and Aloe Blacc in Bratislava.
After (now infamously) stating that he “hates advertisements” on his first interview with TRIAD back in 2015, he was hired as their social media brand manager, swiftly moving to the strategy department. That became an opportunity to work directly with TRIAD’s chief creative & strategy officer Martin Woska, a leading figure in Slovak advertising and a president of the Slovak Art Directors Club.
Jan’s input was crucial in campaigns for brands such as O2 Slovakia, Absolut vodka, Pilsner Urquell, Becherovka, Jameson, Dell Slovakia, and Volkswagen Slovakia. Many of them triumphed at international festivals including Cannes Lions and EuroEFFIE. He was one of the judges at Effie Slovakia 2017 competition.
He is married and doesn’t have any kids – only two turtles, which thankfully don’t require much of his attention.
