Ross Farquhar is Chief Marketing Officer at wagamama, the Japanese-inspired Asian restaurant business founded by Alan Yau in 1992 and now in over 160 locations across the world. Ross joined the business in early 2019 to drive an ambitious growth agenda following the takeover by The Restaurant Group.
Prior to that Ross spent seven years agency-side, most notably at independent agency 101. There he was Managing Partner responsible for clients such as Lloyds Banking Group, Zoopla and Avios. 101 was sold to MullenLowe in 2017.
Ross began his career at Cadbury, where he worked on brands from Creme Egg to Crunchie and was part of the team that brought back Wispa to becoming the No. 1 chocolate bar in the UK.
