Valerie Depelchin

Head of Strategic Planning at BABEL – France

After graduating at NYU (GSAS), Valérie joined Y&R to work as a strategic planner on Orangina, Bourjois, Bouygues, Decathlon and new business pitches. 

At JWT, she developed communication strategies for Kellogg’s, Unilever, Nestlé, Rolex and de Beers as well as pitches for prospect clients. 

In 2007, she joined Lowe Paris (later named Lola MullenLowe) to handle the strategic planning on Unilever, the French Road Safety and MAIF insurance. In 2012, she became the head of strategic planning in charge of Nespresso (except the US), KFC, Hyatt, Triballat, Paysan Breton, etc. 

In 2019, she moved to the French independent strategy and creativity agency, Babel, to become the head of strategic planning.
