Maria Gerginova is Managing Director of Mindshare Bulgaria/part of Ogilvy Group Bulgaria since 2014, playing a major role in the development and growth of the Agency on the Bulgarian market – which is now one of the leading media agencies. Maria has 19 years of experience at an operational and strategic level in the field of media, research, marketing, and negotiation, working on the communication strategies of leading International and local companies such as Unilever, Sanofi, A1, Ikea, Heineken, Rauch, Bella Bulgaria, Kaufland, Fox, GSK, etc.

The entire professional life of Maria is committed to Mindshare. She came as a student and immediately became passionate about the ever-changing landscape of media planning and strategy. Over the past 19 years, she has been working for every client of the agency which gives her unique skills in benchmarking and strategic thinking in all market segments. She has proved her excellent skills in negotiating and media buying during her tenure as Mindshare leader and making it the top agency on the market.

She became passionate about advertising ever since she saw the first TV ad on Bulgarian television many years ago and 30 years later she still finds her job challenging and motivating. 

Maria has been a Jury member of EFFIE Bulgaria Awards in 2019 as well as a media Jury in the local festival for creativity and media (FARA) in 2014 and 2015. 

During her stay at Mindshare, the agency won many awards at Effie and FARA, even being awarded for a Media Agency of the year.
