Martina Schmidt

Head of Innovation, Asahi Europe & International – Slovakia

Martina Schmidt has enjoyed a successful international career starting in 2002 in Austria, where she worked in Regional Marketing for Henkel Beauty Care, covering a broad mix of markets – PL, CZ, SK, HU, BG, RO, the Baltics & Adriatic region.

In her current role as Head of Innovation for Asahi Europe & International (AEI), Martina leads Innovation teams across all major AEI markets, being responsible for developing and implementing Asahi’s innovation agenda with clear and prioritised growth strategy and in line with Asahi’s mission to deliver a great taste and bring more fun to life. 

Martina was driving the recent development of Asahi, when it entered the Hard Seltzer category with the creation and launch of Viper Hard Seltzer across major European markets.
