Director of Business Development, BBDO – Poland
Radek has been involved in marketing communication for more than 20 years. His resume includes work in one of the biggest advertising agencies and media companies in Poland. He gained experience while working in business development and international cooperation departments in the media agency OMD Poland. Afterwards he joined TBWA Warsaw, where for more than seven years he was responsible for the agency development, serving as Managing Director. In 2011 he joined an independent Polish marketing communication group WALK, where he was a Partner and a Board Member. In 2019, Radek Miklaszewski returned to Omnicom group and took a position of Director of Business Development in BBDO in Warsaw. He is also a member of the agency’s management board.
During his career, Radek was actively supporting various initiatives that shaped the advertising industry in Poland. He was involved in the works of SAR Marketing Communications Association and acted as a juror and organizing committee member of Effie in Poland and Euro Effie 2015. His wide range of skills covers almost every aspect of the advertising business, including strategy, business development, human resources and corporate communications.
Apart from advertising and communication, Radek Miklaszewski is also an investor, who helped to launch several technological and medical startups. His academic credentials include a position of a postgraduate lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where he studied marketing and management, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and the Warsaw Journalism Center. Radek is a keen nature observer. He is a volunteer at the Kampinos National Park, where he helps to raise funds for promotional, education and environmental projects. He also takes part in the annual park cleanup events.
