Head of Strategy, Cheil UK
Michael leads the strategy function for Cheil UK, heading up multi-disciplinary teams covering brand, experience and commerce domains.
Originally hailing from the UK, Michael has lived in and learned from three different regions (Europe, APAC, and North America), and worked in-depth across all.
With a background on both agency and client-side, he has hands-on experience leading some of the world’s most powerful, dynamic and meaningful brands. Prior to joining Cheil, he was Dentsu’s CSO across APAC, and before that led Global Brand Strategy and Creative at a Category level at Mondelez.
He is a regular industry speaker, contributor and judge at effectiveness and strategy awards, most recently serving as a jury member for the 2019 Cannes Lions for Creative Effectiveness, and for the 2020 IPA Effectiveness Awards in the UK.
