Regional Planning Director, Ogilvy Social Lab
Awie Erasmus is the Regional Planning Director for Ogilvy Social.Lab, based in the Brussels HQ. Awie first joined Ogilvy London in 2007, before moving to Ogilvy Cape Town where he filled numerous roles across Ogilvy’s advertising, digital, social and PR businesses, spanning a full decade.
In 2018, Awie left sunny South Africa and moved to Brussels to join Ogilvy Social.Lab where he now leads a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of planners working across a diverse portfolio of global, regional, and local clients. His first love remains digital & social strategy, supercharged by data & intelligence – and he has a healthy appetite for innovation & creativity.
Over the years, Awie has been proudly involved in numerous award-winning projects – including Effies and Cannes Lions.
