Marketing and Communications Lead, Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group, EMEA
Alexandre Blumenthal is the Marketing Director and EMEA CMO for Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) in EMEA, including communications, digital and brand marketing.
He is responsible for the execution of pan-EMEA marketing to end customers, influencers and the channel. His role includes strategy, planning, operations, demand generation, solution launches and marketing campaigns. In addition, Alexandre is responsible for a large team of marketing professionals across multiple countries in EMEA, who focus on localizing data center campaigns to ensure they resonate in market.
Alexandre has been with Lenovo for 14 years and, throughout this time, has held several senior regional and European marketing positions, both in consumer and commercial. During his tenure, Alex had successfully launched the flagship ThinkPad X1, introduced the Yoga and Legion consumer brand and integrated the IBM x86 marketing team into the company.
Alexandre has over 20 years’ experience in both sales and marketing within the IT sector and, prior to joining Lenovo, was the global marketing leader of Matrix42, one of the top vendors for workplace management. He established his sales credentials while at Dell, where he learned the craft of customer acquisition through Dell’s direct model.
Alexandre is a values driven individual who believes in his organizations ability to drive ROI by always thinking customer first. He is very passionate about the customer journey and delivering the right information, to the right customer, at the right time.
Alexandre holds a dual degree in European Business Administration at Accadis and a BA (Hons) in International Business Studies at Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK. He is fluent in German, French and English.
To balance his job, which is heavily numbers focused and IT driven, he enjoys hiking and working on his 1967 Ford Mustang.
