Víctor Gutiérrez de Tena is a seasoned strategist with a career deeply rooted in marketing and brand strategy across multiple sectors. He has held key positions at leading agencies and served as Chief Marketing Officer for several start-ups in consumer goods, digital health, leisure, and real estate. Currently, he is Chief Strategy Officer at EssenceMediacom Spain, working with both international and local brands to drive business growth through strategic insight. 

Beyond his professional career, Víctor has taught marketing and communication at some of Spain’s top universities. His work has been recognized with awards from prestigious festivals such as Cannes Lions, Webby Awards, CdeC, Premios Eficacia, El Sol, and the Lovie Awards. He has also contributed as a jury member for various international festivals, bringing a strategic perspective to the evaluation of marketing excellence. 

Víctor holds an Executive MBA from ESADE and has completed additional executive education at HEC Paris, Shanghai University, and Georgetown University. Three years ago, he served as President of APG Spain, becoming the youngest president in the association’s history, and in 2024 he was honored with the Sub41 award by the Club de Jurados de los Premios Eficacia, recognizing his impact on the industry under the age of 41.
