As the CEO of Publicis Groupe EMEA, Demet brings a new dynamic of leadership to the region after over two decades of experience specialising in helping businesses seize the opportunities in marketing transformation.  She is responsible for ensuring the success our markets across EMEA, by looking to drive efficiencies and synergies that unlock growth potential. In her regional leadership role, she seeks to always support and guide our markets, with the knowledge that the hero is always the market because the delivery is on the ground. ​

​Before joining Publicis in 2023, Demet held positions at GroupM as the EMEA CEO and WPP Country Chair of Turkey. ​

Demet has been recognized by Fortune and The Economist as one of the ten most powerful female CEO’s. She is a passionate leader driving an inclusion agenda, believing that diversity is richness. She held the role of VP at the United Nation Global Compact, leading its diversity and inclusion chapter. ​
