Chief Planning & Strategy Officer, UK, Havas Media Network

Emma has spent the majority of her career shaping some of the UK’s most effective and celebrated media strategies at Omnicom Media Group, before moving in 2025 to Havas Media Network UK as its first Chief Planning and Strategy Officer. In this role, she leads HMN UK’s planning, strategy, insight, effectiveness and creative solutions, bringing together rigorous thinking and bold ideas to drive growth for clients.
Across her career, Emma has worked on a portfolio of iconic brands including John Lewis, O2, giffgaff, Specsavers and British Airways. Her work has been recognised with multiple IPA Effectiveness Gold awards—for John Lewis in 2012, 2016 and 2020, and Specsavers in 2024—as well as a Cannes Lion for British Airways in 2024.
Emma was named Campaign’s UK Planner of the Year in 2023 and Global Media Planning Leader in both 2021 and 2022, and is currently shortlisted for Campaign’s Global Strategic Marketing Leader 2025. She is also a regular and respected awards judge, including for the IPA Effectiveness Awards and Campaign Media Awards.
