Mélanie Brinbaum is a seasoned marketing leader with a deep passion for brands that inspire, connect, and make a difference. As Chief Marketing Officer Nestlé Europe, she brings together strategic precision, creative boldness, and a relentless drive to elevate brand experiences across diverse markets and cultures.
Mélanie joined the Nestlé group at Nespresso in 2019, after more than 15 years shaping some of the world’s most iconic consumer brands across global, regional, and local roles—always grounded in a belief that marketing should not only drive business, but enrich lives.
She began her journey at Procter & Gamble in France before moving to Geneva, where she led global marketing for premium fragrance brands like Hugo Boss. She soon became the architect of P&G Prestige’s global marketing capability program, forging partnerships with design schools and cognitive science researchers to reimagine how marketers grow, think, and create. Her passion for learning and innovation became a hallmark of her leadership.
In 2016, Mélanie joined Coty as Senior Marketing Director, where she spearheaded the luxury cosmetics portfolio across more than 30 European countries. She delivered breakthrough market share growth by transforming digital engagement and launching high-impact brand initiatives—including the debut of the GUCCI house’s haute perfumery and make-up collections.
At Nespresso, where she served as Chief Brand Officer, she redefined brand fundamentals—articulating its purpose, revitalizing its identity, and crafting global campaigns that strengthened equity and ignited consumer connection. Under her leadership, the brand won a prestigious Euro Effie in 2021 for a sustainability campaign, along with multiple national awards. In 2023, Nespresso entered the Interbrand Top 100 global brands ranking for the first time, a testament to the brand’s strengthened relevance and impact. She also created the Nespresso Brand College, a global marketing capability program empowering marketers to think beyond execution and become true brand builders.
In December 2024, Mélanie expanded her scope as Chief Marketing Officer Europe and Head of Marketing for Nestlé Europe, where she now leads the strategic marketing agenda across the region—building iconic brands, accelerating digital transformation, and embedding consumer empathy at the heart of innovation.
Since 2025, Mélanie is also pursuing a PhD candidacy at the University of Neuchâtel, further deepening her expertise in economic sciences to complement her marketing leadership.
