Prisca Martaguet works at the intersection of visual communication, culture, and social and political activism. As a media and public relations officer at Reporters Without Borders, she combines creative, strategic, and organizational expertise. She designs campaigns and digital formats that give a visual voice to press freedom. In 2026, she was awarded the ADC honorary title of Client of the Year.
Raised in Paris, Prisca later studied visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. She then worked as a freelance photographer, videographer, and graphic designer for the international press and various institutions, exhibiting her work in numerous locations. A journey through the former Yugoslavia led her to pursue a master’s degree in Balkan Studies and International Relations in Paris. During this time, she taught photography at a university, led projects for a political think tank, and founded an association for Balkan cultures out of a trailer.
Since her return to Berlin eight years ago, her work with refugees and on participatory projects has particularly shaped her perspective on social contexts. And these experiences define her communication today: precise, strategic, and with a clear stance.
