Rui is an award-winning international marketing leader with over 13 years of experience in Global, Regional and Local roles across Foods, Beverages, Personal Care and Homecare at blue-chip FMCG companies including Mars, Kellogg’s, Unilever and P&G. Experience in Core & Masterbrand brand development, ATL and BTL comms development, launching a new brand, packaging and product innovation, shopper marketing, digital & eCommerce and gifting, with increasing levels of responsibility and team leadership. Currently Senior Marketing Manager at Mars, leading the brand team behind the UK launch of Cheez-It, the biggest Large Sharing innovation launch of the last 5 years and Kantar’s biggest new CPG brand launch of 2024, having been recognized in 2025 as a finalist for The Marketing Society’s Future Marketing Leader and Prolific North Marketer of the Year awards.

Previously, Rui was the Kellogg’s brand portfolio lead for Adult Taste & Kids cereal in the UK, a £270M+ business which included 4 out of the Top 10 cereal brands in the UK (Crunchy Nut, Coco Pops, Rice Krispies and Krave). Rui’s earlier brand roles include leading pan-European projects and campaigns for Pringles and global initiatives for Lipton tea at Unilever. His career began with international marketing experiences at P&G in Switzerland, working on Gillette and Amway GmbH in Germany, working across their personal care portfolio.
