Aki is an award-winning creative strategist whose agency experience spans a variety of disciplines. For the past eight years he has been based at TBWA\Helsinki, now guiding the agency’s creative effectiveness as Head of Planning. 

During his career, he has held pivotal roles for brands in banking, FMCG, forestry, healthcare, spirits, and telecommunications, among others. His work has earned multiple Effies—including several Finnish golds, a Grand Effie, and a Euro Effie—and he has served on every major national awards jury, Effie included. 

Colleagues commend Aki for blending rigorous analysis with imaginative thinking. He gravitates toward ideas that are simple, memorable, and backed by evidence. 

Away from the office, he divides his time between two children, enthusiastic (if not trophy-winning) outings in football and golf, and a catalogue of half-finished music projects still waiting for their debut.
