Andraž Zorko

Andraž Zorko is a co-founder, partner, and CEO at Valicon, one of the leading marketing research and consulting companies in South-Eastern Europe. With a career spanning nearly three decades, he is widely recognized as one of the foremost experts in media, communication, and public opinion research in Slovenia and the wider region. He is also the Managing Director of Neuro M, a pioneer since 2015 in using EEG neuro-measurements to decode subconscious consumer responses to advertising.

Analyzing everything from print media trends to smartphone behaviors since 1998, Andraž is the co-creator of some of Slovenia’s most influential public opinion and consumer tracking metrics. When he is not steering Valicon or speaking on professional stages, he can be found co-creating popular podcasts or sharing sharp, data-backed commentary on current political and social affairs in national media. He is a master of looking at data up close, while always maintaining the bigger picture.

Highly active in the regional advertising industry, Andraž is a former board member of the Slovenian Advertising Chamber (SOZ), a member of the Slovenian Advertising Tribunal since 2025, and has previously served on the expert committees for both the Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF) and the Golden Drum Festival. Bringing prior experience from the national Effie jury and a wealth of regional expertise, Andraž is a researcher at heart and a consultant by design—a data specialist who blends deep consumer insights with a sharp, bird’s-eye perspective on markets and brands.
