Emily Somers

Emily is an entrepreneurial, customer-led Senior Marketer, with a unique blend of agency and executive-level client experience.  

Her career has spanned high profile creative agencies, the BBC’s in-house creative team and senior positions at well-loved brands like McDonald’s, Domino’s Pizza and Deliveroo.  

Her first client role was as VP for Marketing and Product Development at McDonald’s, where she led the brand through a period of unprecedented transformation of the customer experience and oversaw a renaissance of creative output, resulting their highest ROI and record numbers of creative and effectiveness awards. 

Her most recent role was as Senior Director for Global Brand Strategy and Creative at Deliveroo. During her time here she led the definition, launch and roll out of a new, customer-led Global brand positioning, the first in their 10 year history. She also led a full-scale global brand identity re-launch, using the in-house creative team, which has been fully adopted by all markets, in Product and internally. 

Throughout Emily’s career she has always held strong values based on authenticity, integrity, customer obsession and a belief that creative thinking is the key to unlock business success.
