Hande Beceren
Hande Beceren, is the Managing Director of Kantar Insights Turkiye & Qatar, providing services to more than 100 local and international brands in the areas of brand health and positioning studies, advertising tests, and innovation. Prior to that, she has served as Interim Managing Director for Kantar Insights Finland office between 2024-2025.
She is a Sociology graduate from Boğaziçi University. She conducted media, advertising and brand research while working at the research company TNS between 1996 and 2000. In 2000, she took on the role of Head of Analytics & Insight at MEC/GroupM, providing strategic planning support to all brand teams. In 2003, she served as Strategic Planning Director at Y&R Reklamevi. With her appointment as Deputy General Manager at MEC in 2006, her responsibilities expanded to include the management of planning groups and MEC’s digital department. Beceren served as General Manager of MEC Turkey between 2015 and 2017, and in 2017 she was appointed General Manager of Kantar Insights Division Turkiye.
She serves as Secretary General on the Executive Board of the Turkish Researchers’ Association.
She is a keen follower of stand-up comedians, cross-continental swimmer, avid traveller, novice sailor.
She feels lucky to be in a business where she can put her love of numbers and storytelling to work.
She is living in Istanbul with his son, who is about to start university and fly from home:)
