Iolanda Casalà has over 30 years of experience in communication, with deep expertise in strategic disciplines such as brand building, effectiveness, advertising, and research. She joined McCann in January 2020, after nearly 15 years contributing to the strategy team at Ogilvy Barcelona, following more than a decade at agencies including Delvico Bates, Lorente Euro RSCG, and Grey. She has led brand and communication strategies across nearly every market category, working for brands such as Iberostar, CaixaBank, Majorica, Nestlé (10+ brands), Lactalis, Unilever, Heineken, and Mattel/Barbie, among others. 

Many of the projects she developed in collaboration with agency teams have been recognized by the industry for their effectiveness, as evidenced by more than fifteen Effectiveness Awards. In recognition of her professional achievements, she received the Woman to Watch award in the field of communication (Premio MAS). 

Casalà holds a PhD focused on the relationship between brand building and communication effectiveness. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to education and to advancing the industry. She has served on the boards of key organizations such as APG Spain (where she was Vice President) and currently serves as Vice Dean at the official Professional Body of Marketing and Advertising of Catalonia.
