Jay Reid
Group Strategy Director - Core
Jay combines marketing science with creativity to develop truly effective strategies and campaigns for his clients. With 13 years industry experience, he is currently Group Strategy Director at Core, Ireland’s largest full solution marketing agency.
Throughout his career Jay has worked with many of the top brands in Ireland including Sky, KFC, the Irish League of Credit Unions, the GAA (Ireland’s national sport), and Failte Ireland (Ireland’s domestic tourism board). He also has a wealth of behaviour change experience having worked with government bodies and charities such as the HSE (Ireland’s health service executive), Movember, and Breast Cancer Ireland.
Jay has previously won several Effie awards including two Golds and two Best of Europe awards. He has also served as a judge for the Irish Effies and the Global Best-of-the-Best Effies, making him one of Ireland’s leading authorities on marketing effectiveness.
Jay holds a first class honours degree in Digital Technology, Design & Innovation from TUD/DIT. He has also completed multiple professional training courses and certifications including an Advanced Certificate in Advertising Effectiveness (The Eff Test) from IAPI and Behavioural Science for Advertising training from the APG. He is currently completing his Executive MBA with Trinity College Dublin.
