With 15 years of experience at independent agencies, Marieke has built her career on the indie side of the industry. Her focus is on work that proves interestingness is a driver of effectiveness. As Head of Strategy at SuperHeroes, Marieke leads strategic work for global/European clients including Lenovo, Oreo, Hinge, Polaroid and MG, in line with the agency’s mission of “saving the world from boring advertising.” In 2025, SuperHeroes was named Ad Age Small Agency of the Year and a Campaign Agency of the Year finalist in 2026.
