Martell Beck has been CMO of Deutsche Bahn AG since June 1, 2024.
From 2012 to 2020, he was Head of Marketing, Sales, and Digitalization at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG). There, he developed the "Because We Love You" campaign, initiating a fundamental reorientation of BVG's communications with a digital focus.
In 2020, he became Head of the Marketing, Corporate Strategy, and Transport Policy divisions at the DB Cargo business unit. With campaigns such as "Goods Belong on the Rails" and "Others Are Good. We Are Goods", Beck prominently positioned climate-friendly freight transport, particularly on social media.
or his work, he was honoured as "Man of the Year Marketing" by the trade magazine HORIZONT in 2021 and as "Customer of the Year" by the Art Directors Club (ADC) in 2018.
