Michal Mrnčo

Head of Marketing Communications - Telekom

Michal Mrnčo is an experienced marketing communications professional with over 15 years in the industry, currently serving as Head of Marketing Communications at Slovak Telekom. In this role since 2020, he leads both ATL and BTL campaigns, overseeing all major communication channels including TV, print, digital, and events. He manages a team of marketing advisors and creative professionals, working closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop and implement the company’s annual communication plan.

Before taking on the leadership role, Michal worked for six years as a Marketing Communication Advisor at Slovak Telekom, where he handled campaign development from strategy through execution. His responsibilities included crafting creative briefs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing both online and offline marketing efforts.

Michal’s career began in the agency world. At Mark BBDO, he worked as a Senior Account Manager on campaigns for brands like ESET, NAY Elektrodom, Soitron, and Bayer. Earlier, at MUW Saatchi & Saatchi, he served as Account Manager, coordinating projects for clients such as Slovak Telekom, ZUNO, and Imperial Tobacco Slovakia, with experience in both digital and traditional formats.
