Patrick Stilwell is Managing Director at Dentsu Creative Portugal, where he focuses on delivering the agency’s strategic vision of accelerating brand and business growth through transformative creativity.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in a wide range of projects, and is particularly proud of the cumulative, long-term impact of collaborative work in building brand relevance, performance and cultural resonance, of some of Portugal’s most iconic and valuable brands, including Meo, BPI, Turismo de Portugal, Via Verde, the Portuguese Football Federation, CTT, EDP, Volta, Betclic and Recheio.
Over the course of years he has seen the agency’s work has been recognised hundreds of national and international awards, with the period from 2023 to 2025 standing out as especially outstanding. During these years, the agency achieved top-tier recognition at the world’s most prestigious creative festivals, including Cannes Lions, Clios, Cresta, LIA, D&AD and El Ojo.
Patrick has also worked as a branding and communication consultant across multiple sectors and international markets. A notable milestone includes his collaboration with the Portuguese Football Federation on the UEFA Euro 2016 campaign — the year Portugal won the European Championship — later recognised by UEFA as the tournament’s best sports marketing campaign.
Patrick was recognised by the Clube de Criatividade de Portugal as Managing Director of the Year (2024) and Strategist of the Year (2014) within the National Creativity Ranking.
