Radka Angus is Group Brand Manager for Slovakia and the Czech Republic at HEINEKEN, where she leads brand strategy and marketing for a portfolio of iconic Slovak beer brands and radlers. She is responsible for building brands, driving growth, and translating consumer insights into impactful marketing strategies and campaigns across both markets.
Her career began in advertising, where, working as a Strategic Planner, she developed her passion for brand building and discovered her love for the beer industry. She then joined Molson Coors, deepening her experience and expertise in beer marketing, before taking on a transformation role at the Slovak National Theatre (SND). There, she brought her strategic thinking and change-management skills into the cultural sector, becoming the driving force behind SND’s acclaimed new visual identity, developed in-house.
In 2018, Radka returned to the industry she loves, joining HEINEKEN, where she continues to build brands and contribute to the future of the Slovak beer industry.
A defining part of her journey has been Zlatý Bažant, Slovakia’s leading beer brand and one of the country’s most beloved beer icons. Having led the brand for several years, Radka has helped strengthen its cultural relevance through distinctive, award-winning campaigns, memorable brand experiences, and meaningful innovations across both the beer and radler categories, while contributing to the brand’s long-term sustainability and continued relevance in a changing market.
Radka believes that building a great brand starts with genuinely loving the brand you work with and believing in what it stands for. For her, the connection between a marketer and their brand is not just a nice-to-have — it is something people can feel in the work itself. When that connection is missing, something essential is missing, too. Her own relationship with Zlatý Bažant is a reflection of this belief: a genuine connection built on conviction, pride, and a lasting love for the brand and the beer industry..
