Thomas Tougard

Consumer Insight Director Europe, FERRERO

Thomas Tougard is a recognized expert in brand development, creative excellence and performance measurement. He is today heading Consumer Insight Ferrero in Europe, where he leads strategic insights, analytics and creative & media performance workstreams, as well as Innovation insights.
Over the past decade, Thomas has been closely involved in most of Ferrero’s creative development across Europe, partnering with marketing, creative and media teams to shape brand platforms, assess creative territories and strengthen the link between insight, culture, creativity and business impact. Between 2022 and 2026, he also served as Global Consumer Insight Lead for Creative Excellence, shaping global creative standards, driving agency excellence and effectiveness measurement, and implementing the foundations of an AI driven transformation of impact measurement across creative and media performance.
 
Previously, Thomas spent nearly 12 years at Ipsos France, where he served as Deputy Managing Director, leading the digital transformation of insight generation, brand development and reputation measurement capabilities.
 
As an Effie judge, he will place strong emphasis in his evaluation on work that reinvents creative content through meaningful brand experiences, connects brands to societal relevance, and demonstrates a clear ability to capture attention while delivering measurable, long term brand and business impact.
