Urška Tuškej Lovšin, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana since 2018. She has been teaching various marketing and marketing communications related courses focusing on brand management, strategic marketing communications, consumer psychology, and marketing research.
Her main research areas are consumer-brand relationships, strategic brand management, digital communications and consumer behaviour. Her research papers have been published in international journals, such as Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Public Relations Review and Baltic Journal of Management. One paper received the Emerald Citations of Excellence award, while another received the Emerald Literati award for highly commended papers.
She was a first- and second-round judge on the Effie Awards Slovenia (in 2019 and 2023 respectively) as well as a first-round judge on the European Effie Awards (in 2019). From 2007 to 2015, Tuškej Lovšin had been working in the advertising agency Formitas BBDO in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Some project on which she was working as a part of the agency team won awards at national and international festivals, such as Warc, Effie Slovenia etc.
