Vas Kourakis

Global Marketing Effectiveness Director - LOREAL

Vasileios is the Global Marketing Effectiveness Director at LOREAL with over 18 years of experience in the marketing measurement and media industry. He is currently leading one of the largest marketing effectiveness programmes in the world, utilizing a complementary tool kit (MMMs, CMMs, NCSs, Sales Lifts, BLS, CLS, etc) to address both strategic as well as operational business questions.

Pior to this role he held the position of Global Director for Marketing ROl and Media lead at Consumer Product Division since September 2017, Head of Marketing Effectiveness for L'OREAL UK and previous measurement roles in Mediacom UK, Millward Brown UK and Ninah UK.

Vasileios has been a judge at Effie UK, Global Effie, Euro Effie, and IPA Effectiveness and WARC awards. He has also co authored a number of winning papers for IPA. He is an Amazon Measurement Council and Euro Effie Steering Committee member, and he also served as a member at the Facebook Global Measurement council for 5 years.

He has an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University, and an MSc in Economics from University of London. He has also been a scholar at The Marketing academy in the UK.
