Vaughan Edmonds

Strategy Director, Ogilvy Health

Vaughan’s career began 14 years ago when he co-founded a mobile app start-up in Oxford. Discovering a love for how creativity could solve business problems, he began an agency career divided between the consumer and health sectors. In consumer agencies, Vaughan worked in account handling before transitioning into strategy. His passion for strategy lies in the simplicity of his approach: finding a brand’s unique value proposition for its target audience within the market, and translating that into a disruptive creative strategy. He gained experience across a range of sectors, working on brands including McDonald’s, Carlsberg, O2, The Economist, and eBay. Moving into health marketing, Vaughan developed global strategies across various disease areas. He helped launch a global infant RSV immunisation brand and accompanying disease awareness campaign, managed the OTC launch for Cialis, oversaw global campaigns for oral health brands such as Sensodyne and Corsodyl, and most recently, began positioning a GLP-1 weight management portfolio. Vaughan has worked at Ogilvy for three years and sits on its AI Transformation Team.
