Director of Marketing, Customer Experience & Communications - E.ON Hrvatska Croatia
Mr.sc. Vanja Vaniček, was born in Karlovac, Croatia. She studied Marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, Croatia and then completed her scientific postgraduate study in the field of Marketing (psychology and consumer behaviour). Currently she is attending Doctoral studies of Economics and Business Economics at Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka, Croatia. Vanja's professional journey is wide and diverse and has been built over the years in many different industries (advertising agency, telecom industry, finance and banking, retail, energy sector). Over the last 14 years she holds the senior management positions, mostly as Marketing Director. She also owns the corporate experience of working on international strategic position with the responsibility of strategic communication projects for the market scope of 20 countries. Her current position is Director of Marketing, Customer Experience and Corporate Communications at E.ON Croatia. Besides corporate carrier, Vanja is also a lecturer at Algebra university college in Zagreb, teaching Customer Experience course within graduate study – Digital marketing. For years, she is actively included in the organisation of the Croatian Effie Awards competition as a member of the Organisational committee. She has also been a member of the Effie Awards jury multiple times (Effie Awards Croatia jury in 2015 and 2017, Euro Effie Awards jury in 2016 and 2019 Euro Effie Awards, Effie Worldwide - Global Best of the Best awards jury in 2021, President of Effie Awards Croatia jury 2022).
