Rachael Courtney is an experienced social media and content leader with over 23 years in the industry, having built her career at the intersection of PR, events, and digital communications. She began her journey in PR & Events before specialising in social media at a time when the channel was still emerging, giving her a rare depth of experience in digital brand building.

Across her career, Rachael has led social strategy for some of the UK’s most recognisable brands, including senior roles at Cineworld and Three. During this time, she was responsible for delivering a number of award‑winning and culturally relevant social campaigns, driving both brand affinity and measurable business impact. Known for blending strong creative instincts with data-led decision making, Rachael has become a trusted voice in shaping authentic, social-first brand communications.

In her current role as Head of Social, Content & Influencers at Virgin Media O2, Rachael leads a team responsible for end‑to‑end social strategy, content creation and creator partnerships.
