Dorian Fleuranceau is Director of Citizen Engagement at Citeo, where he leads the national strategy to raise public awareness and drive behavior change around eco friendly practices related to packaging and wipes. His department’s mission is to make the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle (3Rs) understandable, attractive and actionable for all citizens, both at national scale and in everyday life.
With a background in strategic consulting and brand communication (Publicis, JWT, Insign, Havas), Dorian Fleuranceau has advised major brands and institutions on 360° communication strategies combining creativity, content, social media and amplification. This experience now informs his approach to public interest communication: communication that goes beyond raising awareness or persuasion, and is designed to enable real behavior change, grounded in social realities and everyday constraints.
Convinced that environmental motivation alone is no longer sufficient, he develops new levers for citizen mobilization at Citeo, including social norms, positive reinforcement, message embodiment, cultural partnerships, responsible influence and pedagogical formats. His core objective is to rebuild trust in environmental systems, normalize sustainable behaviors, and embed the “3Rs” into collective imaginaries—working as much on narratives and representation as on media channels.
At the intersection of communication, public policy and ecological transition, Dorian Fleuranceau advocates for a vision of purpose driven creativity: communication that is measurable, responsible, collective and rooted in real practices. He brings this perspective to jury work, contributing an expert and demanding viewpoint on the relevance, effectiveness and long term impact of communication initiatives.
