Nichola Mullen is a seasoned marketing and fundraising professional with over 25 years’ experience delivering effective, insight‑led campaigns that drive real social change. She has led high‑performing fundraising and marketing teams across some of Ireland’s best‑known national charities, including serving as Head of Fundraising at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, one of Ireland’s largest charities, and Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Pieta, the national suicide prevention charity.
Nichola now serves as Director of Development for the Global Ireland Football Foundation (GIFF), an independent foundation established to attract investment into grassroots football facilities across Ireland. She leads strategy, partnerships, fundraising and marketing communications for GIFF, shaping the narrative and stakeholder engagement around investment in grassroots football.
A multi‑Effie winner and long‑standing Effie advocate, Nichola has judged for more than eight years across Effie Awards Europe and Effie Awards Ireland, with a particular focus on Social Good and Positive Change categories. She also served on the Effie Ireland Steering Committee from its inception through 2025, helping shape the effectiveness agenda for Ireland’s marketing and communications industry through IAPI.
