Frank Dittrich is Managing Director of BBDO Düsseldorf and Co-Chief Operating Officer of BBDO Germany, one of the country’s most awarded creative agency networks. As a Member of BBDO’s Executive Committee, he bridges creative leadership with operational excellence, driving both the day-to-day performance and the long-term strategic direction of the agency.
Digital has been Frank’s heartbeat from the very start. His career spans over two decades, beginning at OgilvyOne and growing through senior leadership roles at Ogilvy Germany, before serving as Global Client Executive at Valtech, where he led global digital and technology-driven programmes for brands including Toyota Europe and Nestlé Health Science.
Throughout his career, Frank has worked with some of Europe’s most iconic brands, among them Porsche, Coca-Cola, Huawei, o2 Telefónica, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, CUPRA, and Barmer, always at the intersection of creativity, technology, and measurable impact.
A former GWA Effie juror and lecturer at Pforzheim University, Frank brings to the 2026 Effie Europe jury a rare combination of creative, digital, and commercial rigour, and a deep conviction that the best work doesn’t just win awards, it moves the needle.
