Bastien Schupp is Vice President, global brand strategy and Marketing communication at Groupe Renault. In this role, he defines the brand strategy of all Groupe Renault brands (Renault, Dacia, Alpine, Lada) and oversees its activation across the organization, including advertising, media, sponsorships, events and motor shows. In addition he is in charge of the group's motorsport marketing activities.

Mr Schupp's 20-plus years of marketing experience includes leadership roles associated with some of the world's most recognized automotive brands including Nissan, Infiniti and Audi.

Half German and half French by birth, Mr Schupp holds a Masters degree from ESCP Europe business school.

He spends his free time with his 2 daughters and loves to travel, ski and scuba dive!

In 2019 Alvaro Ales celebrates 25 years of experience in the Marketing & Communications industry. During the first 10 years, Alvaro worked as marketeer at some of the best-known wines & spirits companies such as Diageo in London or Pernod Ricard in Spain. After a brief move to the telecoms industry, working as Marketing Vice-President for Telefonica B2B, Alvaro Ales became Marketing & Communications Director of a well known winery in Spain, Grupo Caballero.

In 2004 he jumped to the agency side and founded Lateral Marketing. In 2007 also founded his current agency 360ş Marketing & Communications and joined Havas Group forming Arena 360ş. After 7 years offering full marketing services with this media agency, in 2014 360şMC became independent again. Alvaro Ales founded then Gastropass a Marketing agency specialised in Food &Tourism.

From 2015 to 2018 Alvaro Ales worked as Marketing & Communications Director of Bodegas Barbadillo, a winery founded in 1821 in Spain, with an Interim Management contract, running simultaneously his own agencies. He has been jury member of several international awards such as El Sol, The Globes, APMC Ireland, Ego Chile and the IMCC European Awards amongst others.

Matjaz Butara

Matjaž Butara is a Marketing Director at the Adriatic Slovenica insurance company. Matjaž joined Adriatic Slovenica in the beginning of 2018 with a mission to fully restructure marketing department. In less than a year, marketing team became a strong business toll that supports all other teams within the company to maximize their performance: from HR activities to attract best talents to processes automation and usability to increase effectiveness and improve user experience. Jean-Charles Caboche

Jean-Charles is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the Essec Business School. He started his career at L’Oréal as product manager for the Helena Rubinstein brand, before joining the Accor group in the UK as communication and marketing manager for the Ibis and Formule 1 brands in London.

He joined TBWA in Paris in 1998 where he worked more than 10 years as account manager for big brands as SNCF, Orange, La Poste, Carrefour, BNP Paribas… mainly on their corporate communication stakes: corporate brand positioning, corporate reputation, corporate social responsibility, employer branding, internal communication, etc.

He joined BETC in 2012 as Managing Director in charge of big accounts such as Credit Agricole, Total and Ubisoft. He is also CEO of BETC Corporate since 2016, this pole answers BETC’ clients and prospects’ needs to build strong corporate internal and external communication strategies and campaigns.

Fanny Camus-Tournier

William Dixon
Brand Business Leader at Interpublic Group - United Kingdom


Will has 25 years’ experience in the advertising business (19 of which at MullenLowe) and has spent the last 17 travelling the world running global Unilever brands. He started his career at the likes of Bates Dorland and Grey, working on a range of accounts from Remington to Procter & Gamble.

Having started at Lowe working on the Vauxhall Motors business, he then took on his first Unilever role keeping armpits perspiration free with Rexona/Sure/Degree, he then led the global expansion of the Household Cleaning business including Domestos, Cif and Sunlight winning numerous awards over the course of 7 years.

During this period Will was also part of the leadership team that pitched and won the global Knorr business. Having settled the Knorr business into the worldwide network, Will was then asked to lead the global Unilever Ice Cream category and help rejuvenate the LOLA MullenLowe office in Madrid. Will’s team helped Magnum to join the ‘Billion Euro’ club, win multiple awards including Cannes Gold two years running and an Effie as well as deliver double digit growth for the likes of Cornetto, Fruttare and Paddle Pop. Will then returned to London where he turned around Unilever’s global Oral Care business and then took on the global leadership of two of Unilever’s largest brands, Rexona and Persil/OMO.

In 2018 Will was asked to lead the successful Team IPG pitch for the global TRESemmé business and build an Open Architecture team that could deliver purpose-led, data driven end to end communications for the world’s leading Hair Care brand. As well as his Unilever responsibilities Will also leads the global AkzoNobel decorative paints business and Pearson, the world’s learning company.

Ross Farquhar

Ross Farquhar is Chief Marketing Officer at wagamama, the Japanese-inspired Asian restaurant business founded by Alan Yau in 1992 and now in over 160 locations across the world. Ross joined the business in early 2019 to drive an ambitious growth agenda following the takeover by The Restaurant Group.

Prior to that Ross spent seven years agency-side, most notably at independent agency 101. There he was Managing Partner responsible for clients such as Lloyds Banking Group, Zoopla and Avios. 101 was sold to MullenLowe in 2017.

Ross began his career at Cadbury, where he worked on brands from Creme Egg to Crunchie and was part of the team that brought back Wispa to becoming the No. 1 chocolate bar in the UK.

Harriet Foxwell

Harriet has over 17 years’ marketing communications experience delivering powerful campaigns in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, working both agency and client side.

Currently Head of Brand Marketing at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) she leads an ambitious integrated marketing programme to inspire more people to support the charity and its life saving work. Within the challenging charity market place, every penny really must count in shifting brand metrics and driving active support. In 2018 Harriet led the successful launch of the BHF’s new brand proposition Beat heartbreak forever.

Outside of work Harriet can be found running with (and after!) her young son and daughter.

Bernhard Krumpel
Head of Group Communications at NOVOMATIC AG - Austria


Bernhard Krumpel has been in business for more than 20 years. Currently he works as Head of Group Communications at NOVOMATIC. The NOVOMATIC AG Group is one of the largest gaming technology companies in the world with a turnover of EUR 2.5 billion in 2017. The Group has locations in more than 50 countries and exports high-tech gaming equipment to more than 75 states.

After having studied Economic Sociology, he began his career as the press officer for the Lower Austrian financial administrative district and chair of the NÖGUS, the Lower Austrian Health and Social Fund.

He then moved on to the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he worked for three years at the office of the minister. Afterwards, he led the state secretary’s office in the Ministry of Infrastructure until October 2004. As a PR expert, he went on to become a manager of a Motorola subsidiary. In 2008 he changed to the Rosam Change Communications agency, where he worked as a manager until the end of 2011.

Since 2010, Krumpel has been on the board of the Public-Relations-Consultants in the professional association of advertising and market communication. He is a member of its committee, the highest management body in the advertising association.

Apart from Economic Sociology, Krumpel also finished a training course on public relations, as well as a university degree in advertising and sales. In addition, he is also a legally certified expert on Public Relations (

Claudia Kuhn is BBIC (Brand Building and Integrated Communication) Manager at Procter and Gamble. Claudia started her career at Procter & Gamble as an Assistant Brand Manager on Dash 2in1 in 1992 and successfully launch of Always and Alldays Brands into Switzerland.

Claudia started pursuing a traditional Brand Management career across multiple Brands (Dash, Always, Olay, Lenor, Fairy, Vicks) and Geographies (South Africa, Germany, Switzerland) with regional and global responsibilities, up to leading the European FemCare Business as Marketing Director in 2002.

In 2005, Claudia transferred to the BBIC department, working on Professional Hair Care, re-launching Wella and Sebastian professional hair care brands.

From 2010 to 2016 Claudia worked as BBIC on the North American HairCare Business (Head & Shoulders, Herbal Essences) and Febreze, managing Febreze Global Brand from 2014 to 2016, winning 2016 NA and Global Effie for the Febreze Noseblind Campaign together with Grey.

Benoit Lozé

Head of Planning at Havas Paris, Benoit Lozé designs innovative strategies and advertising concepts for brands, companies and institutions to give them the competitive edge required in today’s rapidly changing world. Having studied closely the paradigm shifts that now blur the lines between consumers, brands and politics, he supports major companies, such as LVMH, BNP Paribas, Orange and La Poste, in defining a positioning that adds value to both their image and business. Leading a collective of 35 strategic planners, Benoît works in close collaboration with the agency’s Creative Director Christophe Coffre and creative teams in advertising, digital, design, and brand experience.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, Benoit Lozé began his career at Publicis (1998) as a Strategic Planner before joining Saatchi & Saatchi (1999) as a Consultant.

Loic Mercier

When he was 10 yo, Loďc Mercier already knew he wanted to spend decades in the advertising industry. Graduated from a Master degree in Marketing and Advertising at Sup de Pub (Inseec), he started his career at 23 at DMB&B, working as a junior strategic planner. Passionate by creativity and after 4 years of writing many creative briefs, he decided to switch to the creative side and became copywriter for 3 years. Come back to planning in 2006 at Ogilvy&Mather Paris, where he led the strategic destiny of Perrier, Vittel, Europcar, Ford, Duracell, winning Lions as well as Effies.

In 2011, Loďc joined Proximity BBDO Paris as Head of Planning to add to his advertising expertise the ones of digital, crm and retail, winning again Lions and Effies (Mercedes, smart, Conforama, …).

Passionate by effectiveness, Loďc helped Proximity BBDO Paris to become the most awarded agency in the last 3 years at the French Effies, the first French agency in the Effie Index 2016 & 2017 and was jury at French Effie Awards (2015), Effie Awards Europe (2014 & 2016) and Global Effie on the inaugural « Postive Change Award » in 2015 and in the regular jury in 2016 ans 2018.

Loďc is now Chief Strategy Officer at BBDO Paris, heading up the Strategic Planning Department and the newsroom (social media) department.

Jamie Peate
Global Strategy Leader for Retail at McCann Worldgroup - United Kingdom


Jamie got his first taste of retailing helping-out in his parent's shop near Blackpool. After university he joined Lever Brothers Sales and Marketing department and then went on to work on the Kwiksave, British Gas and ICI accounts at McCann. He formed Blue Banana, his own insight and innovation agency, in 1991 and worked with brands like Persil, Dove, Cif, Flora, Clearblue, Marks and Spencer and Kelloggs both nationally and internationally. In 2010 Blue Banana became part of McCann Manchester where became the Head of Strategy and part of the leadership team for Aldi.

Jamie is now the Global Head of Retail Strategy for McCann World Group and leads the Global Retail Practice which supports promotes and shares best thinking, approaches and practice for retail globally.

Lucia Petrášová

Lucia is active in the marketing communication field for more than 15 years. Firstly as an account manager in advertising agencies in Slovakia and Bulgaria. Later she joined a „client side“ at O2, where she was responsible for several areas of communication ranging from ATL, BTL, sponsorship to CSR. In 2016 she was promoted to the Head of Marketing Communication at O2. In 2016 she was a jury member of Slovak Effie award. During her agency life, she put up several successful Effie applications (awarded with 2 shortlists in Slovakia, 1 Golden Effie in Bulgaria), so she might be a great contributor to jury discussions in Brussels.

Inna Pokhodnya
Marketing Director at Tele2 - Russia


Inna is the Marketing Director at Tele2 Russia, one of the leading mobile communications networks in the country, since December 2015. She is responsible for developing and implementing Tele2 marketing strategy, supervising national and regional marketing campaigns, and increasing brand recognition and loyalty in the country. Under her supervision, Tele2 introduced re-branding and new communication platform as well as several innovative and highly successful marketing products that converted into spectacular company’s business results and growing MS.

Before entering telecom sector she was heading Marketing department at MasterCard Russia cluster. There she also brought the company brand to a new level not only in Russia, but also some other CIS countries. Earlier in her career Inna spent 9 years with SUN InBev where she has held various marketing roles of increasing responsibility. Her last role was the Marketing Head of Premium Brands. With her input the company was able to dramatically increase the share of SUN InBev on the premium market. First steps in marketing Inna did in the pharmaceutical companies including GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson&Johnson
Her achievements and brand development progress have been widely recognized including awarding Golden Effie, Cannes Lions and other prestigious international advertising awards.

Initially having graduated from Moscow State University, chair of the World Economy, with honors, Inna further developed her skills in Wharton Business School (USA) and Stanford University (USA). She also bears an EMBA degree from the ESSEC Business school.

Viktorija RadojevicMavric

Viktorija Radojević Mavrič is the Executive Director of Marketing at the Mercator Group. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of Marketing at Mercator Serbia, where she has been employed since 2014. She was previously Director of the Marketing Department at Idea, where she was Head of the Public Relations Department and Head of Research and Analysis Division since 2007 until 2014.

She studied organisational sciences in Belgrade, and MBA at the IEDC International School of Management in Bled. She is a member of the Naleda Association in Serbia, Yes in Slovenia and many others until now. In the field of strategic marketing, she introduces new approaches and ideas, and distributes her inexhaustible and contagious energy to everyone around her. Laura Rathai is Head of Marketing Communication and Customer Experience at Hyundai Motor Germany. She started her career at McCann Erickson in 2004, where she gained first automotive experience with Opel in the advertising and (media) strategy department. From 2007 onwards and within various positions in the Lufthansa Group and within the advertising agencies Wunderman and Serviceplan, she developed national and international brand and communication strategies for Lufthansa and was responsible, amongst other things, for different product launches i.e. the new Business Class . The 35-year-old communication expert has been working for Hyundai Motor Germany in different positions since 2014 and drove further the brand development and developed holistic marketing and customer experience strategies to further unlock the success of Hyundai in Germany. Her ability to translate business objectives into marketing solutions and experiences in different industries and agencies has helped her to develop and shape her career at Hyundai Motor Germany.

Laura holds a degree in Business Administration with focus on media communication and advertising from the University of Cooperative Education in Ravensburg.

Xavier Reynaud

Born in Lyon, France, Xavier started his media career in Germany, where he had the chance to work for several agencies in Munich and Frankfurt/Main. After 10 years in Germany, the next station was Austria where he successfully occupied different functions within the IPG group, the last one being CEO IPG Mediabrands for both Austria and Switzerland.

In August 2015, Xavier turned a new page in his career and joined Mindshare as the Swiss CEO. Vladislav likes to travel with his daughter and enjoys skiing, though his skiing skills need improvement.

She has been an adjacent professor at the Cattolica University of Milan covering the area of digital and interactive marketing. Passionate about travelling, reading and cooking she spends all free time with her 2 daughters, family and friends enjoying life to the max.

Inga has been working in marketing for 15 years in various multinationals, different FMCG categories, managing variety of brands. The adventure started in Unilever, then NIVEA. In Kimberly-Clark she worked as Category development Director and then Marketing Director for CE region.
